Default PvP Changes

This is a place where you can put your ideas about how to entice people to PvP after they are done their PvE adventures. Or to just bring in new PvPers that want only that part of the game.

First off, I would like to say DO NOT POST SKILL CHANGES ETC. We just want things "added" that would make PvP more appealing and less repetative over-time.

1.)My first suggestion is maps. Adding more rotating maps into the TA, RA, Guild Hall scene would certain breathe a bit of life into the areas. I mean cmon, for the 54 explorable areas for prophecies we get 8 TA maps (7 RA), for Factions, 33 PvE and 4 RA/TA, and for Elona, 34 (not including torment areas) and 2 RA/TA.

Elona seems to be the most lacking in terms of non-hero battle maps in PvP areas. Surely you could find a few places to turn into new maps (like the torment area, desolation style area, there was one map removed from rotation that was part of the northern area of Elona as well.)

Guild Halls are not too bad, but a few randomly added ones on future dates couldn't hurt.

2.) Second suggestion may be a new kind of training arena for new PvPers. This would be almost similar to the Bonus Mission Pack or the Costume Brawl. Depending on the Class you choose, you get an automatic set of skills, just to get players into the habit of teamwork and basic skill usage.

A brand new PvPer gets absolutely no real way to do this. Mainly because the skills "given" to a PvP character when it is created, are not very good and doesn't get them very far.

3.) Guild Warfare: This is one hell of a stretch in terms of a suggestion, but it would be a new gametype, revolving around a continuous battle of several Guilds at once on a large scale map. there would only be allowed a certain amount of guilds at a given time, and if a guild forfeits or leaves during battle, a new one canjoin in and keep it going.

Almost like an everlasting AB, in exception to the teams cannot be "random" and must consist of all members of the same guild or alliance.

4.) Guild Stronghold: Think about Thunderhead Keep, one guild needs to hold the stronghold which 1 or 2 others attempt to claim it for themselves. More like Thunderhead Keep + Hall of Heroes.

Don't flame, if you are not going to add something, or be respectful of other's suggestion, you are not wanted here.

I think it would be interesting if GvG was changed to a 9v9 or 8v8 format with one of the players acting as the Guild Lord, and if the Guild Lord's skills could be changed. Other changes might involve the ability to shift NPCs or give them different skills, or even put in different professions of NPCs.

Just to liven it up a bit.

If you changed the NPC's profession and skills, people would most likely abuse them and put in total power houses, snare bots, or tanks to really slow you down. And you would have to give the person acting as the Guild Lord the abilities the Guild Lord has originally. Natural Resistance and that Pendant of Protection thing. Along with it's 10k+ health. XD Not sure exactly how much health it has. Just saying.

1) I don't care about new maps. But it would be great to have more rulesets and layouts, not the typical flag, priest anihilation ones...
2) They should make an NPC in the Great hall give player templates. You talk to them, as for an example of build and they whisper you one or two.
3) Hm... you'll have to wait for GW2.
4) Again, you'll have to wait for GW2.
